What's been happening in the world of Love Food Hate Waste this week?

Well, it's the end of week three of the new blog and I can definately say it's been a lot easier this week than last - although I am still finding myself thinking about the value of food far more than before. Who would have thought that something which seemed so simple - living off £1 a day for 5 days - would have affected me so much?
So what else have we been doing? Well, this week has seen some great features on the campaign including My Weekly magazine showcasing one of our no waste menu planners (24-30 May) and Asda have a 6 page spread to tie in with our May and June theme of BBQs.
Rain has also been top of mind this week 'for some reason' but I'm sure that summer is just around the corner (!!Honest!!) and we all need to be ready to make the most of any sunny spells. And if the rain doesn't stop? Well, let's have an indoor BBQ instead - come back throughout May and June to take a look at all the hints, tips and recipes on offer to make your BBQs going with a swing this year!
In fact I may just have to embrace the rain this weekend otherwise I shall never get my carrotts sown at the allotment...just think, a few weeks ago we were praying for rain and now it's still not enough to fix the drought...time to think a bit more about the value of food and all the water it takes to make it perhaps?
